Score: 9 out of 10
Even with minor issues, Far Cry 3 remains one of the most solid shooters of 2012. It doesn’t provide players with a very deep and meaningful plot, but it definitely makes up for that when it comes to expansive gameplay. And even though I did find fatigue setting in at times, there’s always something to do on the island be it hunting, killing or exploring. With a lengthy campaign, a map editor as well as co-operative and competitive multiplayer, Far Cry 3 is provides solid bang for your buck. But... [more]

Are you tired of your monotonous stay in the city? Do you dream of spending a well deserved vacation on an exotic beach... eh... may be an island? May be you're intrested in photography and in capturing the natural behaviour of wildlife on camera? Well... then ROOK ISLAND is a place for you. It offers you all kind of adventurous sports as well - mountain climing, para-gliding, scuba diving, sky diving and many more. Sounds good? Yeah?

Ok gamers please before being engulfed by the graphics and beauty of the environment be wary of the pirates who kidnap your friends. The stand point of the game is the incredible voice acting. The setting is amazing and you would be tempted to stare at the ocean or the sky for sometime before carrying on.

You start as Jason Brody - a person with no real purpose in life and to him many can relate to. With no skills to even hold a gun and later going to become the ultimate badass - the journey is amazing.
Far Cry 3 is the best game in the series. It plays as a FPS but has a lot of stealth and RPG elements. It lends the hunting from Red Dead Redemption and nails it. You would be spending time in creating bigger quivers, bags to carry more guns and ammunitions. You would be fighting man-eater sharks and crocs in the waters; you would be skinning tigers and leopards; you would be crafting explosive arrows, climding radio towers, killing ememies stealthily to gain additional XP and level up. In brief you would be completely drowned in the game for weeks.

The characters you meet - Vaas, Hoyt, Citra, Buck and others are simply unforgettable. FC3 explores the insane part of your mind and takes you to places you've never been before - this can be uncomfortable at times. This is the best game to be launched at the end of 2012. Buy it and thank me later.
